On 17 April 2026, the Veteran Help platform was officially presented in Zaporizhzhia — an information portal that brings together services from government bodies, civil society organisations, and businesses for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.

The event was organised by the civic organisation “Zaporizhzhia. Platform of Joint Actions” together with the Rubikon Voli charitable foundation. Attendees included representatives from local government, non-governmental organisations, businesses, and the veteran community.
About the Platform
Veteran Help is a single access point where veterans and their families can quickly find up-to-date information about available support — from government programmes and civic initiatives to business discounts and job opportunities. The portal is structured around the recipient’s actual needs, eliminating unnecessary searching and effort.

The platform covers:
- Support providers — organisations, institutions, and initiatives offering assistance to veterans and their families
- Service categories — a systematised directory organised by recipient need type
- Job listings — employment opportunities specifically for veterans
- Business benefits — companies offering discounts and privileges to combat veterans
- Events — activities, training sessions, and community gatherings for the veteran community

Technical Development
The portal was developed by the Beehive Logic team on behalf of the civic organisation “Platform of Joint Actions”. The technical foundation is a modern stack: Go, PostgreSQL, and server-side template rendering. The system includes an administrative panel for keeping data current and a Telegram bot for rapid notifications.

The platform is designed so that administrators can maintain up-to-date information independently, without any technical knowledge — adding support providers, events, vacancies, and service categories through a straightforward interface.
This approach is characteristic of how we work at Beehive Logic: we build not only a technically solid product, but one that is genuinely convenient to use day-to-day without developer involvement. The Go backend delivers fast page loads and straightforward deployment, while the custom admin panel keeps the entire operation in the hands of the content team.
Why This Matters
Veterans frequently encounter fragmented information: some services exist within government bodies, others within civic organisations, others within private businesses. Veteran Help resolves this by concentrating all available resources in one place and filtering them according to real needs.

“Only together, only in combination can we achieve more” — Olena Shvets, Director of the Department for Veterans’ Policy
